Starting at the young age of 10 years old, Chance has got his start in southern rock and metal music. Learning by ear, guitar world magazines, and countless hours of practice, he would eventually find himself in a high school band opening up for local legends. By following his hero’s influences, he found himself learning country, folk, and bluegrass music, which lead him to playing various different instruments in different bands. Today he spends his days playing bluegrass mandolin, writing, and teaching here at our shop. Chance focuses on being a well rounded musician. Teaching students not only how to sound like someone else, but more importantly, how they can sound like themselves. He is currently offering lessons in mandolin as well as acoustic and electric guitar. From flatpicking to fingerstyle, he can accommodate to any students needs.
